San José Estépar, Ph.D. Dr. San José is Instructor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School and a member of Laboratory of Mathematics in Imaging, Brigham and Women's Hospital. His research interests are focused on medical applications of image analysis. This includes local image structure estimation using tensors analysis, image segmentation, and image registration. He is currenlty working in image analysis methods for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease ( COPD ). His other areas of work are Diffusion Tensor Imaging ( DTI ) and Imaged Guided sytems for laparoscopic and endoscopic interventions guided by ultrasound.
